Frequently asked questions

How long does it take for the setup?

Everything can be done within <15 minutes. Just connect the hoses, fill in the water, plug in & play. Your cold plunge experience is ready in just a couple of minutes.

Do I need to connect it to my house water supply?

No, you just fill in water with an external water hose. Once the tub is filled, the water circulates from the tub to the Cooler & Heater - Borealis, there it gets filtered, sanitized, cooled down and then flushed back into the tub.

Can I put TUNDRA equipment outside?

Yes, TUNDRA is engineered for both indoor and outdoor use.

The Cooler & Heater - Borealis features an IPX4 rating, ensuring protection against splashing water from any direction.

However, we do recommend setting up the equipment in a sheltered area to minimize wear and tear and prolong its lifespan.

How often do I need to change the water?

TUNDRA comes with a strong cleaning system that includes ozone sanitation and a 20 Micron filter (more information here). This can keep the water fresh for a couple of weeks.

How often do I need to replace the filter?

We recommend changing the filter at least once a month to maintain clean water. This frequency may vary depending on usage and overall hygiene practices of those using the plunge.

How long does it take for the Regular and the Pro version for cooling and heating?

The regular model takes approximately 4.2 hours and the pro version takes around 2 hours to cool and heat 200 liters of water from 23°C to 5°C and vice versa.

How long does it take for the delivery?

The current lead time from order until delivery is approximately 30 days. This may vary subject to demand, availability and delivery destination.

For customized tubs it can take up to 45 days or longer.

Is there a warranty on TUNDRA Ice Bath products?

Yes, we offer a 1-year warranty on our cold plunge products.

Do I need to add sanitizing products to the water?

We do not recommend to add any sanitizing products to the water to avoid pontential damages.

The unit comes with an
integrated ozone purification system, which means there's no need for additional sanitizers, as ozone is the strongest oxidizing agent allowed for water treatment purposes.

Can I control my Ice Bath with my smartphone?

Yes, you can adjust temperature, set time schedules and switch on/off your TUNDRA Ice Bath with your smartphone.
